Craster Local History Research Group (CLHRG)

The group was established at the 2012 AGM to provide a forum for researching Craster's past and to establish a structure giving accountability to the committee and membership of the CLHG for the work undertaken.

Objectives

To research, preserve and to publicise Craster’s historical heritage.
To provide a forum that supports this primary objective.

The CLHRG is scheduled to hold two meetings each year. The first of 2013 did not take place because the Memorial Hall was not available. The second is due on October 7th 2013.

The secretary of the group prepared a report for a meeting of the CLHG committee on March 11 2013. A copy as a WORD document can be downloaded from here.

It is open to anyone in the community to contribute to the work of the Research Group, you do not have to belong to the History Group and attendance at our meetings is free to anyone with an interest in Craster's past.
